The heating mat is always placed on the outer part of the glass (base of terrarium or side wall).
When placing on the outer glass of the terrarium base, use four rubber pads (the heating mat must not touch flammable materials). The heating mat heats the terrarium glass and thereby increases the temperature of the terrarium substrate.
Option °C or °F: Hold down the up and down arrow at the same time for about 2-3 seconds.
Setting the desired temperature: Hold down the SET button for about 2-3 seconds. The temperature number starts flashing. Then set the desired temperature using the arrows (up / down). Press the SET button again to confirm the setting. The temperature number stops flashing and the temperature of the heating plate increases or decreases according to the setting. The red light is on when the mat is warming up. If the ambient temperature is higher than the set value on the thermostat, the numerical data will flash.
Warning:
The heating mat must only be attached to the outside of the terrarium.
The heating mat must not touch any flammable materials.
The heating area should cover less than 1/3 of the terrarium area.
Do not bend or cut.
Do not immerse in liquid.
